Lori Williams is an acclaimed jazz vocalist, educator, and radio host with over 30 years of experience performing worldwide. She has released six independent CDs, showcasing her signature blend of jazz, soul, and R&B.. Known for her smooth and soulful vocal style, she has shared the stage with renowned artists and continues to captivate audiences with her dynamic performances. She also tours internationally, bringing her music to audiences across the globe.
Beyond performing, Lori is a veteran music educator, serving as an artist-in-residence, and former DC Public Schools teacher. She is also the founder of Positive Music for Positive Minds, an organization that inspires and empowers youth through the arts. Committed to community engagement, she produces and hosts the Sunday Jazz Lounge at St. James Live in Atlanta and actively promotes jazz appreciation. She hosts a radio program on JazzRadioWETF.org, showcasing jazz music and celebrating its rich history and artistry. This fall, she plans to further her academic journey by pursuing a master's degree in Jazz Studies at Georgia State University.
